Receptionist/Customer Service

Maintain the daily operations and security of the reception area, including greeting and directing visitors and routing incoming calls.  Consistently provide all customers with efficient and accurate service and support the day-to-day activities of the Customer Service Department, including training, membership, publications, fulfillment, and customer database.

•·        Provide assistance and a professional and inviting atmosphere for all incoming visitors (customers, volunteers, students, vendors, etc.)

•·        Operate the telephone switchboard and assist customers with reaching appropriate person

•·        Maintain receptionist area with current marketing collateral

•·        Perform routine data-base clean-up activities and maintain tracking metrics

•·        Answer customer inquiries regarding AIAG products and services

•·        Process customer orders and registrations

•·        Provide customers with accurate, timely and relevant information

•·        Provide problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues

•·        Monitor various inbound email boxes and respond accordingly

•·        Be a member ambassador and perform associated duties

•·        Provide departmental back-up/coverage

Other duties as assigned


•·        Associates degree from accredited college/university and two years of related experience and/or training.

•·        Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

•·        Reliable, punctual, professional and friendly.

•·        Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

•·        Working knowledge of a database software application preferred.

•·        Able to manage time, multi-task and prioritize.

•·        Able to work with all levels of employees, customers and vendors.
